| Alberta Wheat Pool Grain Terminal, Vancouver, British Columbia, 1987 This grain terminal is located within Burrard Inlet in the Port of Vancouver. The grain, from Alberta farms, was typically loaded on to ships bound for markets on the other side of the Pacific ocean. The large high structure next to the ship contained a conveyor system that took the grain to the ships from the concrete storage structure on the right side of the picture. The grain from the country elevators in Alberta was delivered in specialized railroad grain cars. Contact me at: For more Art of Harry Palmer go to Home Page.
