livestock rail cars

Snowpatch, 1979

I don't recall the exact location but it was north of Calgary and south of Red Deer, Alberta. The cylindrical rail cars on the right side of the picture are designed to haul grain. The rail cars on the left are designed to carry livestock. In the foreground are creosoted rail ties.

This a sepia print originally made from a black and white negative.
